The International Free Expression Project and Point Park Center for Media and Innovation invite you to Bad Activist!

Exiled dissident artist Mai Khoi (born Đỗ Nguyễn Mai Khôi) has been called the "Lady Gaga of Vietnam" and compared to Russian activist-band Pussy Riot. She was a pop star in Vietnam, winning Vietnam Television's 2010 Album of the Year with the song "Vietnam" on her first produced album. The purchase of a "VIP ticket" will include premium seating to the show and a ticket to the private Afterparty. The party will also feature a live auction with proceeds to benefit the International Free Expression Project.

Effective May 1, 2022, The Pittsburgh Playhouse venue entry requirements including proof of vaccination and masking will be determined on a per event basis, as set by the artist or promoter. Entry requirements will be provided at PittsburghPlayhouse.com as well as outlined in pre-show communications. This decision was made in response to low positivity levels in Allegheny County. We will continually monitor CDC, state and local health requirements and adjust as necessary. Individual artists and or productions may have their own health and safety requirements. Updates will be noted on individual event pages and in pre-show emails, if applicable.
