We’re thrilled to bring back this special event for some of our youngest visitors – the 16th annual kindergarten readiness celebration, Kindergarten: Here I Come, on Saturday, August 13, 2022.

Kindergarten is a big transition for our youngest learners. At this annual event, children entering kindergarten in the fall can experience a day full of fun activities, resources and learning from Children’s Museum staff and our amazing partners from around the city.

Coronavirus (COVID-19) Update

Info regarding how this event is being affected by the Coronavirus (COVID-19) crisis.:

Masks are currently optional and highly recommended at the Children’s Museum and MuseumLab for visitors 2 and up. If Allegheny County returns to a high risk community assessment, masks will be required. We recommend visitors wear a mask in consideration of young children who are not yet vaccinated and visitors who are immunocompromised or otherwise at high risk. We will continue to limit capacity in the Museum. Masks are available upon request. Thank you for helping us navigate these unprecedented, evolving times with respect and kindness.
