Throughout June, we will honor Juneteenth, celebrating the emancipation proclamation, which freed all enslaved people in the United States — a celebration that first began in 1865.
Celebrate Juneteenth in Frick Park with music featuring local Black artists. Bring a picnic, your friends and family and enjoy! This event is free to the public and family friendly. Guests are encouraged to bring a picnic and blanket, and celebrate with community on the lawn of the Frick Environmental Center.
