History Explorers: Pittsburgh and the Movies

Explore Pittsburgh’s Hollywood stories, look at costumes and clothing and see how they have changed over time, and weave a simple pattern. Then, become a director or an actor and make your own mini movie!

Children ages 5-8 can explore Pittsburgh stories through games, art, cooking, making, and other hands-on activities. Caregivers and siblings are welcome, but programming is designed for children ages 5-8. These fun and lively sessions will be led by museum educators.

History Explorers sessions are $8 for both youth participants and adults and free for History Center members.
