Kids ages 5-8 can explore the history and engineering of some of Pittsburgh’s most famous landmarks and bridges at the Heinz History Center.
Investigate images of historic bridges, learn about an especially strong wire rope designed by Pittsburgher John Roebling, design their own bridge, and build a collaborative bridge strong enough to hold the weight of a grown-up.
ADMISSION INFO
Registration costs $8 for participating youth ages 5-8 and $8 for attending adults. Register online at heinzhistorycenter.org/events.
