History at Play: Make it Pop

Youth ages 8-11 are invited to join us for the Heinz History Center’s “History at Play” youth workshop summer series, where they can discover, imagine, and create!

This special History at Play workshop is themed “Make it Pop: Art of the Everyday” and will feature a special guest appearance by nationally-acclaimed Pittsburgh pop artist Burton Morris!

 

Morris, who was born in Pittsburgh and trained at Carnegie Mellon University, will show how he created some of the most popular pop art in the world for clients, television shows, and celebrities. Registration is $10 for each youth participant and is free for History Center members. Please register online.
