Ever wonder why a cocktail glass is shaped that way? How did Pittsburgh glassmakers stay afloat during Prohibition? What cocktails came about during the Prohibition era?

Join curators from the Heinz History Center and local community glass experts for a deep dive into Prohibition-era glassware. Learn and imbibe as glass experts share their knowledge and Red Pump Spirits of Washington, Pa. serves up samples.

Attendees will receive a complimentary specialty cocktail and admission to all History Center exhibitions, including American Spirits: The Rise and Fall of Prohibition and Glass: Shattering Notions.

Tickets are $15 and advance registration is encouraged.
