Confluence is Pittsburgh’s longest-running SF/F/H literary, music and art conference. Award-winning authors, editors, artists and song-writers gather for three full days, offering a wide variety of activities including, panel talks, writing workshops, poetry readings, science programming, free autographing sessions, music concerts, art demos, and FREE Saturday night entertainment with paid membership.

Coronavirus (COVID-19) Update
Confluence covid/masking policy Anyone physically attending Confluence, age 5 years old and older, must be fully vaccinated and boosted and show proof of vaccination at registration. Those who cannot get a vaccination due to medical reasons, must supply the results of a rapid COVID-19 test taken within 24 hours of attendance. Home tests will not be allowed. All attendees age 2 years old or older must wear a mask in Confluence function spaces at all times, with the exception of designated eating or drinking areas, and performers while on stage. Children age 4 and under must be with parents or guardians at all times and have a negative rapid COVID-19 test taken within 24 hours of attendance. Updates will be posted on the website when applicable.
