Comedy Bingo+ featuring Sketchy PPL at the Pittsburgh Fringe Festival

What would make bingo even better? Jokes instead of numbers, obviously! We’ve put together a misfit ensemble of funny people who will get a bunch of words or phrases just before showtime so they can improv a comedy set to amuse you and help you win prizes! Are the prizes fabulous? Are they random stuff we found in our houses? That’s the gamble! Plus a never-before-seen skit by Sketchy PPL to open the show. Lucky you! About the Company/Performers: Sketchy PPL was formed haphazardly and mostly by accident when Liz Tripoli wanted to write funny things with Amy Melissen and Andrew Lasswell in between glasses of wine. Other talented folks float in on projects, like Rachel Sohl co-hosting for Comedy Bingo+, Joan Tomko as the presenter, and Lauren Judson as Charlotte in the short sketch Strange Meat. Over the years, many projects have been created by the core three, some actually performed, some still halfway between under the water and onto the shore, as far as creative evolutionary ponds go. Thus, a bright future for these projects once they grow some feet and fortitude. Do they live up to their name? Are they Sketchy? Are they even PPL? Hard to say, but if you show up to Comedy Bingo+ Featuring Sketchy PPL, you can look for the zippers on their human costumes in person.
