Change of Course: Virtual Conversation with the Artists

Presenting the work of six emerging artists, Change of Course takes viewers to landscapes of reimagined archetypes, blurred memories, hidden histories, and queer folktales; all against the backdrop of a global pandemic. In a time of profound uncertainty, these artists are radically present with themselves, their work, and each other.

Change of Course features new artworks using tradition materials such as oil paint, plaster, graphite, and pastels. With an experimental attitude around process, the artists have developed their own visual language and nuanced tonalities to explore uncanny worlds of their own design.

Exhibiting artists Peter Barbor, Paper Buck, Eriko Hattori, Deborah Hosking, Paul Peng and Lou Tandon represent the eleventh cohort of the Distillery Artist-in-Residence program at Brew House Association.

Artist talk will feature a premier video tour of the exhibit, live discussion with the artists, audience Q & A, and announcement of the next Distillery cohort.
