Belt Buckles From Recycled Materials

Design a contemporary belt buckle made from your own found and recycled materials with metal artist Bryan Petersen! Learn the technical form and structure of fabricating a belt buckle with an experienced artist. Students will size and coordinate found and recycled materials to make a personal statement piece that will also hold up your pants!

Level: Beginner/Intermediate/Advanced
Tuition for this one-day workshop is $115. The instructor/artist will provide a materials list.

ABOUT BRYAN PETERSEN

Bryan Petersen is a visiting artist from Bozeman, MT. Bryan received his B.A. in Metalsmithing at Montana State University in Bozeman, MT, and an M.F.A. in Metals, from East Carolina University in Greenville, NC. He is currently an Assistant Professor of Art teaching Beginning and Advanced Metalsmithing classes at Montana State University.

He has taught at The Arthur Morgan School, Georgia Southern University, Arrowmont, Ghost Ranch, and The Bear Canyon School of Art and Craft.
