The Bach Choir presents PEACE: Mar. 24 & 25 @ Union Project. Settings of the simple but powerful “Dona Nobis Pacem” text by several composers contrast with the theme of conflict presented in the opening concerts of the season.
Mirroring the opening concerts of our 2017-18 Season, the music presented in this performance seeks the peace so desired around the world. Over centuries musicians have written works that reflect this emotion and our concert will feature settings of the simple but powerful text, Dona Nobis Pacem, by several well-known—and some not as well-known—composers.
