ARTIST CONVERSATION AND CRITIQUE WITH CAROLYN PIEROTTI

The most difficult thing I think about being an artist is having an objective view about your work. Thinking about aesthetics, composition, color and subject matter; wondering if you’re going in the right direction, and when should I stop! All of these things are valid concerns and honestly an extra eye can be helpful. Join me for a critique and open conversation about your work while enjoying an evening with other creatives.

Each artist will receive 10-15 minutes with Carolyn to discuss their work. There will be opportunity for open discussion with everyone at the end of the evening.

This event will be capped at 10 artists, and I’m asking for participants to mask up please. There will be some sort of cocktail provided and light snack. Fee is non-refundable, if critique needs to be rescheduled due to Covid or Weather you will be notified as soon as possible.

Who is Carolyn Pierotti?  Carolyn Pierotti is a graduate of Carlow University, and the owner of Purple Room Fine Art LLC.  She is a curator, teacher, cultural producer and artist  As a practicing and exhibiting artist in the Pittsburgh area, she resides and has a studio space in Bellvue, She was the events coordinator and curator for Sweetwater Center for the Arts as well as the Director of Percolate Gallery.  She was the Exhibitions Chair and Vice President of the Pittsburgh Society of Artists where she coordinated and curated multiple exhibitions.  Carolyn also mentored at Carlow University where she held a seat on the President’s Advisory Council to the Humanities.  She is also an exhibiting artist where she is held in private and corporate collections throughout the region.
