Join the Fort Pitt Museum in Point State Park to learn about artillery in the 18th century during this Living History program.
Witness how artillerists at historic Fort Pitt prepared for cannon firings to defend the Point in the 18th century.
Artisans including tinners, turners, and blacksmiths will demonstrate and discuss how their trades contributed to 18th century artillery.
The Fort Pitt Museum cannon crew will fire the museum’s replica British six-pounder cannon throughout the day, weather permitting. Follow @HistoryCenter on Twitter for up-to-date information regarding firing times.
