Koppers Tower: Survey the Strip District and neighboring Gulf and U.S. Steel towers from the 29th floor balcony of Andrew Mellon’s 1929 Art Deco masterpiece.
Oliver Building: The top floor lounge of Chicago architect Daniel Burnham’s tallest skyscraper is the best vantage point to appreciate his extravagant architectural flourishes.
Union Trust Building: Crank up the vertigo as you peep over the railing down into the 10-story atrium, then get a close-up look at one of its rooftops “chapels.”
Benedum-Trees Building (visited during May tours only): See Market Square from the renovated rooftop deck of this 1906 Beaux-Arts beauty, one of the first skyscrapers commissioned by a woman.
Keenan Building (visited during July tours only): Have a look under the baroque red dome of one of Pittsburgh’s most unusual landmark skyscrapers and learn its surprising history.
Masks are required for entry. Tour group size is limited to encourage social distancing. 2 people per elevator; some stairs.
Benedum-Trees Building (visited during May tours only) is not wheelchair accessible, but the other 3 locations are accessible.
