African American Genealogy Workshop

Join genealogists, authors, and DNA analysts Shannon Christmas, Michael Williams, and Alonna Carter for a day-long workshop on African American genealogy and understanding DNA.

Benefitting beginners and seasoned genealogists alike, this in-depth workshop will examine the basics of genealogical research, how DNA can be used to help you break down genealogy brick walls, different types of DNA resources, and what your DNA results can reveal about you.

Registration for this program is $20 per person for the public and $15 for members of the Heinz History Center and the Afro-American Historical & Genealogical Society (AAHGS).
