Janelle Iglesias’ site-sensitive sculptures and installations investigate how objects mediate social relationships and how inanimate objects can be read as having a form of agency of their own.

Janelle Iglesias’ site-sensitive sculptures and installations investigate how objects mediate social relationships and how inanimate objects can be read as having a form of agency of their own. As part of her long-standing collaboration Las Hermanas Iglesias, her work also extends into social practice and performance. All lectures are free and open to the public. Free parking is available in the East Campus Garage after 5:00pm or on Frew, Margaret Morrison, and Tech Streets after 6:00pm.
