These local producers make innovative, attractive, and useful products with heart and skill. They also develop their businesses in ways that strengthen, expand, and diversify the regional economy. They reignite and reimagine Pittsburgh manufacturing for the 21st century.
“Interiors with Impact” will showcase a wide variety of products, ranging from lighting to furniture to home goods to wallcoverings. Producers featured use traditional handwork techniques and advanced manufacturing processes to transform raw and/or reclaimed materials into inspired products with durability, utility, and good design. The exhibition will present several staged interiors completely outfitted with local products. Whether its pendant lights for a major development or a ceramic cup for good friend, the exhibition will demonstrate that consumers can keep it local when solving their personal or professional design challenges.
