Music and Dance celebrating the Martin Luther King, Jr. holiday weekend, bringing together performers and audience members from across the Pittsburgh region to the historic Byham Theater in Downtown Pittsburgh.
This is the second of two concerts celebrating the MLK holiday weekend. Featuring KDKA’s Lynn Hayes-Freeland, modern dance troupe Reed Dance II and The Heritage Gospel Chorale joined by choirs from CAPA High School (Pittsburgh), Ebenezer Baptist Church, The Lemington Chorale, Taylor Alderdice High School (Pittsburgh), Temple Sinai, UU Churches of Greater Pittsburgh, and Woodland Hills High School. The Concerts celebrate the social justice ideals championed by Dr. King.
